The entire world is celebrating the centenary of Poland’s regaining its independence.

On 11 November 2018, we will be celebrating the centenary of Poland's regaining its independence. This event deserves special mention and international publicity. This is why we want to tell the history of our country in an unconventional way.

We made a few short videos about Poles who invented useful objects that are now being used by millions of people around the world. Covert listening devices, windscreen wipers, condoms, planetary rovers and bulletproof vests – everyone is familiar with these things but do they know that they were invented by Poles?

Out of seven videos about Polish inventions the users of Onet chose three that will be used to promote Poland abroad.

This international campaign will be executed among others via the media owned by Ringier and Axel Springer operating in over 40 countries all over the world.

What we want is for the world to see a remarkable country inhabited by exceptional and creative individuals. We will be talking about this in a light-hearted and humorous way. We want to surprise people and trigger an interest in the history of Poland in its fight for independence. In the campaign we will be encouraging people to send Poland best wishes and to see more of the materials developed as part of the 100 lat Polsko campaign.
